![]() ![]() One of VIDA’s instruction pages, if i was reading it right, says you can change the “mileage counters.” I didn’t look much into it, but thought it was interesting if you could reset your odometer. If you’re into that kind of thing, might be worth checking out. That’s pretty cool! I wouldn’t say it’s dummy proof, but from what i took the time to read, the manuals are very concise and not too hard to understand. VIDA, along with diagnostics, has all the wiring diagrams and troubleshooting materials built in. There is no way that i saw to activate the headlights through VIDA, but i suspect that the software update packages may be region specific. If someone out there braver than me feels like trying, you might be able to change your region from USA to EU and then update/reset your software to get EU specific features, like the matrix headlights. It appears to be pretty easy to change your car’s region lock. I ran a hard reset and waited a while, but it didn’t change anything for me. So i suppose if you downloaded the OTA but it didn’t install, or was corrupted, or you postponed it and the message never came back to update, a soft reset should fix that. You can also do an “OTA Reset.” A soft reset reloads your OTA process, and a hard reset reloads the process and deletes the files so it can pull a new OTA. Under the service options, you can reset your TCAM and other systems. I saw some things in VIDA that were interesting: ![]() Everything worked fine, it’s possible that I’ve been on 3G speeds this whole time because AT&T sucks and it’s just been programmed to say LTE. ![]() I noticed my cell connection now says 3G instead of LTE. Had to reset my mirrors and it unpaired my PAK, no big deal. took it for a short drive without issues. ![]() I didn’t use a battery maintainer, and the 12 volt only went from 93-89%. The update went smoothly, took 26 minutes. ![]()
